The picture marked a historic occasion in the history of English County cricket,
when a 70-odd-year tradition was broken when Sachin Tendulkar became the
first cricketer to achieve a particular feat. What was the occasion, and who
was originally slated to achieve the feat?

  3. Answer : Sachin Tendulkar’s famous pose with a pint of beer after being chosen as the first non-Yorkshireman to play for the county, after Geoffrey Boycott and the club's cricket committee finally dismantled the native-born policy which prevailed for over 70 years.
    Craig McDermott of Australia, was the first-choice, but pulled out a month before, because of a groin injury.
