Question of the day #6/64

1.      Drachma was the Greek currency used during several periods in its history. Euro replaced Drachma when Greece became a member of European Union. Why is it that you cannot buy anything with a Drachma issued in 1900’s where as you can use Drachma issued way back in 530 BC? ( Hint: The answer is a major factor for today’s global economic problems)
